Science
Engagement Dynamics was born in the natural sciences; in the study of human physiology and psychology. The starting point for all our work is an understanding of people as physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual beings.
To really understand people and how they engage we actively tap into insights from medicine, psychology, neuroscience, biochemistry, anthropology, sociology and other humanities. We also explore interaction, organisation and systems in the biological and hard sciences.
These scientific principles help us to understand peoples' choices, responses and behaviours, their energy levels, motivation, competence and capacity, Our favourite theorists help us to make sense of our research observations, to craft effective, transformative processes and to help people to understand each other.
Art
Our business focuses on constant improvement - helping people to get better individually and collectively. To this end we believe in using the arts as a powerful transformative tool.
People never stop changing. As they interact with the world they constantly sense, perceive, interpret, choose and act - becoming different all the time. It is our job to create transformative experiences which lead to better actions.
Using art in various forms allows us to create multi-sensorial, engaging experiences which can facilitate more sustainable, whole person change. We enrich the sensing, perceiving, interpreting , choosing and acting processes to create a context in which people choose deep change.

Organisations are powerful vehicles for societal transformation.They are also messy, complex and constantly evolving which makes them incredibly interesting and dangerous to neglect.
